About CyberSynagogue
During the Covid-19 pandemic Rabbi Shore had a marvelous revelation. The vision of CyberSynagogue came clearly into her mind and so pursuing it became her whole focus. The idea was to start an online synagogue without walls, a place where people can come from all over the world and from the comfort of their home, to pray, worship, learn and also grow their spirituality.
IN 2018, Rabbi Shore left a very large synagogue in South Florida after serving there 27 years. This shook her world. It begun a journey of rebuilding and recreating their life. Rabbi Shore asked herself questions like, “What is my spiritual desire?” and “What do I want to do now?” She would pray to God with the most heartfelt tears, “Please God help me to move forward, let go of the past and begin anew.”
Through arduous times that blended together, like a storm that lingers for days, the dark clouds began to lift and she realized the gifts that God blessed her with were too precious to set aside only to collect dust and atrophy.
Birth of CyberSynagogue
With this inspiration came a new infusion of excitement and desire to once again create. Rabbi Shore began to create a dues-free synagogue that would offer both online, virtual experiences and in-person Jewish observance. It would be accessible to ALL. Because of life’s challenges it was crucially important that CyberSynagogue be a safe place where one could explore, experience, heal and grow as a spiritual being.
So, CyberSynagogue was created and will continue to evolve as we grow towards our purposeful, profound and meaningful selves. Tapping into the ancient divine rituals and holidays of our Jewish tradition. We will uncover a relevant meaning for our day to day lives through the celebration of the Jewish calendar.
With music, spirituality and love we will walk our journeys hand in hand, heart in heart together, like a warm blanket we will share moments of comfort and spiritual renewal.
If you want to feel a part of something special, feel like you belong and experience your faith in a new way CyberSynagogue welcomes you and wants you to know that here you are always at home.
